Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin, Madison We regret to inform you that the Department of Computer Sciences will not be able to offer you admission to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. We received nearly 1000 applications this year and the qualifications of all candidates (including yours) were very high. A committee of over 20 people carefully reviewed the applications and had to make the very difficult decisions of whom to admit.

Electrical Engineering, Stanford University So if you haven't seen any rejects its because Stanford waits for the last day to send them out. I know because I was rejected last year. These posts have been quite accurate for some time. Most schools send out their acceptances first followed by all the rejects. Please dont vent out your frustration on these boards. They are only meant for sharing results. If you dont trust their credibility then dont look at them.

Cultural Studies, University Of California, Davis (UCD) Rejected because of my Statement of Purpose / written work, apparently. It's all good - I was too busy hanging out at the recruitment weekend for another UC whose program is my top choice and which has fully funded me! :)

Computer Science, University Of Wisconsin, Madison admitted with financial aid (The email says: Almost all students with guaranteed aid at WIsconsin are admitted with teaching assistantships, and transition to research assistantships after a semester or a year.)
