UW-Madison triple majors in CS, Math, and Stats graduated in three years

I never received a response on my application and it is the end of June! Waste of an application fee, they couldn't even send a mass rejection email.

I had to call OSU. I finally got a call back on 6/16 from a very rude person, who informed me that I should have known that if I had not recieved an offer of admission by 4/15 that I should have assumed a denial. "OSU does not have time to send out denial letters."

I had to call the Graduate Director, he was very polite in his rejection. University of South Carolina made no effort to contact me regarding their decision.

2 professor development happened last week of May, one said he has no funding, so discussed thesis-based master's option, the other took his sweet time to schedule a call and finally got on a call on June 10th, stating his interest to hire me as a PhD student in his lab and offering TA. He gave me a task to write a summary on one of his projects, while working on it, on the same day, i received a reject. I have filed for appeal. Please suggest what more I can do.

For the MSCS (Scientists and Engineers track, for non cs majors). Kinda surprised since I have a philosophy BA and pretty minimal ECs and anything relevant really. My Letters were good tho, I know that. Also my SoP made some pretty sophisticated links to modern machine learning, not just the surface level "ethics... blah blah". Seems like the cohort is massive, but considering my background I am content.

First interviews and said he will hire for Sping 2026. Then ghosted. And then rejected over email stating no bandwidth.

Applied for PhD but offered Masters. Asked for Integrated masters, but they refused.

Just got the rejection email. Very unprofessional handling of decisions. Results were supposed to be announced before April 15, yet there was no portal update or communication, and the status still shows only “submitted.” All applicants paid application fees and deserve timely decisions and clear updates, not just those who were accepted.
