Education , Society & Culture, University Of California, Riverside Finally after an agonizing wait I got the email that my results had been upload to the portal. My heart broke when I read the first line “I regret to inform you “. I had a 3.9 at the end of my masters degree. 5 years of research experience in undergrad & a thesis that I felt aligned with their research. Preparing for the next round of admissions! Good luck to all of you.

Philosophy, University Of Notre Dame This was my first choice, by far. I was on the waitlist, and I recieved an email yesterday predicting that I would be accepted sometime on Saturday. Then all the applicants with outstanding offers who were planning to decline changed their minds. It's been an emotional rollercoaster of a semester, but damn, that was a brutal way for things to end. If you're going to Notre Dame in the fall, you'd better LOVE every second of the next five years, lol.

"Confusion about April 15th
I'm seeing a lot of posts about universities "waiting until the last minute" and "not abiding by the deadline"
April 15th has NOTHING to do with when universities release results. It is the deadline for accepted students to accept funded offers. And even then, not all universities are a signatory of that decision.
Universities can and will continue to release results til July even. They are not obligated to abide by any national deadline. I'm not saying that it's not frustrating that they're taking their sweet time, just telling you that this is how things go and to not let your expectations run wild today/tomorrow.
For waitlisted applicants and applicants put on a "silent waitlist," you'll start hearing from universities after April 15th as people commit to offers.
If you're an international student: FINALIZE YOUR UNIS. Stop waiting. Even if you got in, visa processing will take MONTHS. Many are facing issues with finding good visa slots, and it might delay your start date or lose you your offer altogether.
For domestic students: you can wait longer. However, remember that there are also things to finalize, like housing. It's less of a risk, but I still recommend committing to a school no later than 2 months before your start date.
Good luck, everyone"

Economics, All Feeling like mentally chased down at this moment. If you hold multiple offers please leave one or two best ones and decline. (Well I am not sure whether that will help given that today is the last working day before 15th).

Economics, University Of Michigan (Ann Arbor) "I am afraid it is quite unlikely that we will make any waitlist offers at all this year, because our offer acceptance rate so far is higher than we had anticipated. We are very close to reaching our target number, and are in fact likely to exceed the target. If we do make any offers, it is likely to be only on Apr 16 or 17.
Sorry to be the bearer of this news, but I think it's better for all if we are completely frank at this stage. If you have any deadlines (say for Apr 15), I'd recommend you go ahead and accept another offer."
