Pharmacology, Weill Cornell Graduate School I was notified of the school's recruitment in mid-December by a personal email. Then setting up all the flights and everything was done over the past couple months by email too. These 2 emails are the first generic ones I've gotten.

ACCESS, University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) ugh. so frustrating. let me in already!!! "As a result of changes made to the main application portal in our Graduate Admissions office, we and other large graduate programs here at UCLA are behind in our application review process for Fall 2011. If you are selected to participate in an interview weekend, you will receive an email from our program administrator, Jody Spillane. Once the review process has concluded, we will email all applicants to whom we will be unable to offer an interview invitation. However, given the large number of applications in our system and our current staffing level, it is not possible for us to respond to individual emails in all cases."

Stylist Certification, Blaine School Of Hair Design FINALLY ACCEPTED!! On my third attempt i got into the Blaine Hair Design School in Worcester! All i want to do is cut hair. I'm sick of working in a tollbooth every day. People dont even use the booths with this "ez pass" shit. Tomorrow, I'm going to flip off my boss and burn that toll booth down.

English, The Ohio State University I checked the grad school web site and my status has changed to accepted. I called the English Graduate Coordinator to confirm that this indeed meant that I was accepted with funding. I was told that I also would be nominated for a fellowship. Apparently, the Graduate Director should be in contact via phone and/or email with all accepted applicants in a week or so. Visiting weekend the first weekend of April. This is my third year applying, and my very first acceptance.
