Wallace Stegner Fellowship, Stanford University email to check portal. found rejection on portal. I think the rejection might be tiered? Did others get the same rejection? Here's what mine (poetry) said: "Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a place in the program. However, we wanted to let you know that your application was read with great care and appreciation. Clinical Psychology, Long Island University, CW Post Had 30 min 1:1 interview for LIU-Post PsyD with LL on 3/13/24. I was NOT part of initial cohort who was offered "conditional acceptance". Was informed that APA site visit just occurred and continued accreditation status is pending. They currently have interim DCT who has been in that position for over a year; they are actively seeking a new director for the program. Was also informed that all enrolled students will receive a stipend as RAs in the program for first 3 years or so, but the amount is unclear.

Computer Science, University Of California, Berkeley 7+ years of industry experience in Data analysis and science in a fortune 500 company. 3 pubications but not in high impact journals. Won the research competition for my thesis at reputable US university. Grad GPA: 3.6. Strong LORs from thesis advisors, former manager, and the current employer. Strong SOP The only negatives: no relevant research background, and undergrad GPA = 3.0. I expected this result, but what hurts is that the school did not even send me an email saying to check my portal for the updated results. Randomly checked the portal and saw the updated status with their generic email for non-admission. It would have been nice to at least send a notification email about the status update after all the hard work and effort the applicants put in to apply.

Environmental Studies, University Of Oregon Got an email at 2 pm EST. "Thank you for your application to the Interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Environmental Studies (ENVS) at the University of Oregon. I am very sorry to inform you that we are unable to recommend you for admission Fall 2024. A committee comprised of Environmental Studies faculty, in consultation with focal department faculty across campus, carefully reviewed all applications. Because the ENVS program is small and functions through a unique collaboration between Environmental Studies and other UO departments, it is highly selective, with a great deal of competition for each available place. We thus find ourselves unable to admit many of the highly qualified students who apply. This year we had a larger than average pool of very competitive applications."

City Planning, Rutgers University New Brunswick Hi all- has anyone received any information about funding?? I received my acceptance on 2/5/24 saying funding information was forthcoming, just wondering if anyone had heard anything. Congrats to all admits!

Pure Mathematics, ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute Of Technology High GPA from a medium-size university in Italy. In my opinion: pretty decent SoP, one strong LoR, one good LoR. No internship but I am involved in some pseudo-research experience with my final thesis project. In the end I think GPA and a good match of ETH's BSc courses with mine have been decisive. PhD Finance, Columbia Business School Ignore status, I had my interview in early February. Should I consider myself rejected if I haven't heard back from the interview since then? Does anyone know if all final offers are out for CBS PhD Finance?
