Person who got rejected from Oxford, why are you choosing Yale? What's so great about their program over a place like Columbia, e.g.?

Applied for the new program and did not receive any invitation for an interview. I received the rejection notification at 2AM UK time. I guess that rumor about rejection getting sent from automated system is true then? Anyway, all the best for everyone!

TTPB: Were you waitlisted about a week ago and then got an offer now after an additional place became available? I was also waitlisted and am anxiously hoping for a miracle that a couple of people don't accept their offers. Thank you!

TPB: I received no email either, just logged in and saw it at the bottom of application details in self-service. Are you the same person from the studentroom oxford postgrad forum? If not, there's someone else there in your position too, no changes in their MPhil+DPhil status to just MPhil. Hope it's good news for you!

(Not wl) I received no email, on self service I still see MPhil+DPhil 2+2.

TPB: I don't think they've done it simultaneously. I think obviously it was a much smaller number of people that applied for the combined programme compared to the standalone MPhil, so they probably sent off the acceptances for the MPhil/DPhil yesterday and put everyone else into the standalone MPhil cohort. I think some MPhil/DPhil applicants will get the MPhil offer only, and some others possibly rejected, but seems like no rejections at all have gone out yet. Has your MPhil/DPhil application moved to MPhil only? My application did and shows only MPhil, with a note at the bottom of application details in the self-service saying that this has been done on request of the academic department.

I received an email asking me to fill out the conviction declaration form but no offer letter. I contacted my dept and was informed they sent me an email on March 5 with my offer. However, I never received this email. It was not as I expected. I graduated from UC San Diego with honors (3.6 GPA). Muy emocionada y esperando a que más personas apliquen a este curso.

[Not WL] Anyone has a sense whether the joint Mphil+Dphil and Mphil track send admissions simultaneously? All offers so far have been for joint Mphil+Dphil.

To MPhil+DPhil acceptances below: congratulations! Mind sharing your background and stats? my self-service just changed to MPhil only, not MPhil+DPhil so I guess that's an implicit rejection for the joint offer at this stage.
