Of course, if a slot opens earlier, we will inform you immediately, and ask that you keep us informed of your situation as well." Looks like I'm not the only one. I wonder what percentage of the waitlist uses tgc; I'd be surprised if it's more than 10%. Oh well.

Mathematics, University Of Washington, Seattle We have very few positions this year,and a record number of applicants. So although your application was strong, with strong letters of recommendation, it is very unlikely that we will be able to make you an offer.
