Has anyone heard from UW Pathobiology?

One 3rd author publication, One 3rd author submitted manuscript, 1 patent co-inventorship. ~4 years research experience. Biomedical Engineering undergraduate degree. Currently Bioinformatician at Stanford Lab.

American w/ international degree (BSc Biology, first class honours). No MS and no publications. My first result and first rejection, but not really surprised, UW was a longshot.

GPA is masters. 1 pub, 1 pub first author under review, 1 patent pending.

1st rejection. So sad. Perhaps there isn't a quite fit with the faculty. Have a second-authored pub.

Got email for rejection. My 2nd rejection low verbal GRE but high Quant. 10 yrs experience. 2 pub (1 first author) Good luck with those who had interview invitation

Several international and domestic conferences (oral talks, posters), one outstanding award for an oral talk. Within top 5% (similar to summa cum laude) in undergraduate. 3 solid LoRs from current and past PIs. Over 2 full-time research in biomedical sciences as a Master's, 1 year full-time research in biochemistry, one summer research experience in biosciences abroad. 4.0 Master's GPA from a well-known (usually in the top 30-50s in QS rankings every year) university

Received an email from a professor saying my application "stood out" and he would like to have a phone call with me. Had the phone call yesterday (1/2/19) and he said the admissions committee should be making final decisions in the next two weeks or so.
