Tuition scholarship + stipend + fees + health insurance + additional honors fellowship. Dream come true.

Religion, Psychology, and Culture. Accepted for Theology and Practice fellowship, and nominated for university fellowship as well.

Interview for Theology and Practice. I applied to Religion, Psychology, and Culture. Email included: "I want to be as clear as possible about the process for selection. Being a T+P finalist means that you are in a small pool of people being considered very carefully for a fellowship in Theology and Practice. It does not mean that you have been admitted to any area in the PhD program at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Area faculty will work independently to determine who is admitted to their areas. Then the committee on Theology and Practice will offer fellowships to people who have been accepted by the areas."

Accepted off wait-list. 5 years of funding, $18,500 stipend. Feels like a dream...speechless.

Was expecting it since I knew they had done interviews a few weeks ago and I wasn't called for one.

Finishing MA now, 3.8 master's GPA; Historical Studies (American Religion).

Applied for the Jewish Studies MA. I guess they only take a couple people for this concentration. Oh well.

Today is a glorious day!! Admitted with 5 years of funding (Full Tuition, Stipend, plus Health Insurance).

Excited to get this far at one of my top schools!

Was wait-listed. Received no further notification. Had to call to find out status. Apparently they do not notify alternates unless they are being bumped up.
