I am keeping hope alive.

Social Work, University Of Toronto Acorn updated yesterday showing "Invited" and requiring $500 admission deposit. I called the registrar asking if I was accepted, they said acceptance letters will be sent out by 5pm the following day (today). Today at 5:05pm I refreshed the Application Management website and in my application saw that status changed. I didn't receive an email and the front page of the application didn't update, it still shows submitted. Congratulations to everyone that got in! I got into the 2-year program as a domestic student, I did my undergrad at U of T and have 7 years work experience in the field.

Mental Health Counseling, Teachers College Lowkey upsetting but not surprising. Email notification to check portal. Despite low gpa, had 3+ years of experience in undergrad + work study + internships + post-grad experience & great LORs. Good luck to those that were accepted!

Physics, Virginia Tech I think I am on the waitlist for Vtech. I am hoping to work with Chun Jun Cao for my PhD. If you have better offers at hand, please reject Vtech, as this would be my only chance to study quantum information theory and quantum gravity. I want to study these things with the utmost passion, and as of now, Vtech is my only option.

Computer Science, McGill University 2 Internships, 1.5 years of work ex. as an SWE and 3x research papers (1x Journal, 2x Conferences) from a Tier-II Indian University. Received an unofficial rejection mail from the Comp. Sci. Graduate Admissions Committee after I enquired about the status of my application.
