  • To the other Uindy poster: I heard from the school in late April regarding department scholarships, but otherwise nothing else. I was given the name of someone to reach out to regarding learning more about the incoming cohort and possibly getting in touch with everyone else. I just emailed them and will hopefully hear back shortly. I'll post again as I know more. I was also told to keep an eye out for an email from a program adviser within the department. Hopefully that will come sooner rather than later because waiting until August for things to start happening is torturous

  • Accepted (as long as I send a certified hard copy of my diploma). Submitted my application on March 31st, was informed my application was complete on the 1st of April, and got an email stating that I can be admitted to the program on the 2nd (as long as I send the hard copy of my diploma). Just wanted to give props to the admissions office for their swift reply and consideration.

  • Stated that their incoming cohort was filled as of yesterday. Hadn’t heard anything since being informed that I was waitlisted over two months ago. I’ve already accepted an offer at my top choice, but hopefully this helps establish a timeline for admissions for the next cycle of applicants. Congratulations to all attending EMU this fall!
Temple UniversityClinical Psychology, PhD (F19)Rejected via Postal Service on 13 May 2019 A14 May 2019
  • Interviewed mid-January, where they told applicants they would know where they stand within ~ 2 weeks (initial offer, high alternate, low alternate). Radio silent, and after a month had to contact 2 different people from the department to know my status and it took them 2 weeks to get back to me. Then they sent a rejection letter by USPS way after the acceptance deadline. I ended up accepting an offer at my top choice program, but this program's lack of correspondence after the interview was a turn-off.

  • Interviewed early February, and but heard absolutely zero/nothing from them until today, 90+ days later. I already accepted an offer from my top choice 2 months ago, so I'm not disappointed (and even if I had received an offer from MSU, I likely wouldve declined, given they're not APA accredited). However, the long delay in response and complete radio silence is unprofessional and inconsiderate to applicants. I spent my time and money to attend this interview, and they couldn't even be bothered to send a quick "we are reviewing your app and hope to get back to you soon" or any sort of acknowledgement/reply?

  • Just got the letter of rejection for the PhD program. Indicated I was interested in being considered for the master's program in my application, but only received a rejection about the PhD program. I am assuming this means I was rejected from both.
