Gender Studies, York University Informal acceptance from dept head, will receive official acceptance in a few days. Canadian (domestic) student. 2 undergrad publications, strong letters of reference. Unknown funding atm. Weirdly, I did not finish this application and yet received an acceptance today lol. Will be rejecting for a prior offer.

Women, Gender, And Sexuality Studies, Rutgers University New Brunswick IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone heard back from Women, Gender, & Sexuality Study grad program? Is there a hidden waitlist? I seen ppl got denied back at the end of Feb and early March. Ugh I emailed the director no response.

PhD In Multidisciplinary Gender Studies, University Of Cambridge high 1st class honours from Russell Group Uni, Cambridge MPhil with Merit in the same programme. No interviews. having difficulties in matching supervisors.

Near And Middle Eastern Civilizations, University Of Toronto The application season seems to be over for me. I made 20 applications and received 5 acceptances. There are two applications that have not been announced so far, but the ones I have received acceptance offers are better than the ones that have not been announced. I wish success to everyone who is waiting for news. My advice to those who will apply next year is not to send an e-mail to only one professor when you apply. Notify all the professors in your field that you have applied by sending an e-mail. I didn't do this when I was applying, but I have seen from those who have been accepted from universities such as Harvard and Princeton that they present projects that they will not actually work on but will be of interest to the department. In this way, you can turn to projects that you will not actually work on, but that will attract the department's attention more and increase your chances of getting accepted. Especially gender is one of these topics...

Women, Gender, And Sexuality Studies, Rutgers University New Brunswick Thanks for your interest in our program. We had 125 applications this year from all over the world and have very limited fund so we can only admit less that 4% of the applicants. As a result we have had to turn down many very qualified candidates. I’m very sorry that we are not able to offer you a place in our 2024-5 cohort. We wish you all the best in your endeavors.

Women And Gender Studies, Indiana University Bloomington I called them to get an update. They said that they sent out their first round of acceptances and depending how far on the list I am, I may or may not hear from them. So I'm just counting this one as a rejection.

Gender Studies, University Of Western Ontario Canadian applicant. Have to wait 1-2 days to receive official letter w/ funding offer, was notified by the graduate school through email. 3.9 GPA in the field, strong references, 2 undergrad publications
