Astronomy, University Of Maryland TTPB: Some committees will recommend that an applicant gets rejected or waitlisted if they think that you will not accept the offer. It streamlines the process on their end (or so I have heard). Also, astro people all know each other, so it wouldn't surprise me if committees talk across schools and coordinate acceptances. (again, this is all hearsay don't take it for Gospel).

Aerospace Engineering, Stanford University I haven't heard anything from Stanford regarding their Master's Aero/Astro program - do people know if they interview candidates for Masters programs as well? I'm just assuming I'm getting a rejection at this point.

Physics, University Of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign TTPB: I also applied for CMT and have not heard yet. Judging on past years, looks like they do rolling admissions and will keep doing so until end of February. Also, I have an astro-oriented friend who applied and was accepted (to the physics phd program)

Physics And Astronomy, University Of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Have any Astrophysics/Cosmo hopefuls relieved an update? I have seen a bunch of acceptances but only in CMT/Bio-Physics. Just wondering if Astro profs have sent any acceptances/rejects/wait-list
