  • To all who are waiting to hear about funding for MPhils, your best bet is to call student registry directly, and not the Trust (who are not administering domestic MPhil funding this year, it would appear-apart from very specific degree programmes). Registry helpfully informed me that most of the funding has been allocated, and that I had not been nominated by the department for funding. Student registry will be useful because they administer Newton College funding, which is the main source for MPhils. Good luck to everyone else!

  • To the "theology person" below, Could I ask when did you apply? and What subject did you apply? I have applied New Testament study at mid Dec 2017, but still "under review by department." I hope they sent out rejection mail.. waiting is so hard.

  • Initially applied to their PhD program and was rejected. They recommended I apply to the MA program instead. From there, I was accepted with no funding offer. Bittersweet, but still cool –– I really like the philosophers there. 1a / 1w / 7r // 2p

  • In endless limbo per the application portal, but I'm assuming that if I tried to solicit an official rejection via email I would get one. I'm no longer interested in attending UConn, but for anyone who's in the same position and cares about their application status, I would recommend soliciting a decision at this point.
