Waitlist update

Was originally waitlisted. Was informed that nobody will be admitted from the waitlist this year.

Hey future PhD students, I am on the waitlist at Duke and was informed that there are still a few spots left. If you are accepted but not planning to go to Duke, please decline your offer sooner rather than later, as there are only two days to the deadline. My chance is not high but if this works for me because of your generosity, I pray for your success in the rest of your careers!

Note that my application was competitive, but Duke was only able to admit two students into the program this year. Does this mean I was on the waitlist? This is the first communication I have had from the program.

Rejected after being second on the waitlist. There were only two spots open and weren't able to accept anyone off the waitlist this year. :(

Contacted by 2 professors (11/21/23, 12/30/23) Had 1 informal interview (1/8/24). No communication since then. Received email to check status on the portal

Forget the status: tpb, I received the offer around the mid of Feb. The date was a mistake.
