BMS, St Jude GSBMS 3 yrs undergrad research( tiny liberal arts college with few resources so I did all I could), REU at Mayo Clinic, graduated from the Honors program at school, a few bad marks bc of homelessness and having to overwork in the semester. No response when asked how I can improve.

MALD, Tufts Fletcher Undergrad from a small liberal arts college in the Hudson Valley. 3.65 GPA, 165V, 162Q, 5.5W. 4.5 years of work experience at time of application. ~30% tuition wager for Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, brought offer up an extra $2,000 per year after negotiating. Hard to say no but decided on somewhere with full funding and stipend for quality of life reasons and to not have debt in my late 30s. 9a/1r.

Hard to say no but decided on somewhere with full funding and stipend for quality of life reasons and to not have debt in my late 30s. 9a/1r.

Advanced German language skills. Had to say no because the funding wasn't competitive and decided on somewhere with full funding, stipend, and more focus on international development. 9a/1r.

Philosophy, New York University ( NYU) Well dang. As consolation(?) they said: "While the Graduate School of Arts and Science was not able to offer you admission to their Ph.D. program, the College of Global Public Health believes that you may be an excellent candidate for their master's program in Bioethics." Not much of a consolation lmao. 3 more schools to hear from. Getting depressing...
