Physics, Carnegie Mellon University mailed them and they said all offers and waitlists have been made, haven't sent rejections because if someone declines, they may consider other people. Therefore, I humbly request you to reject CMU if you have a better place in terms of ranking or fit, cos I've found 3+ profs with excellent research fit here. This is my very last hope in this 3rd cycle :(

Computer Science, University Of Texas At Austin Checked on mystatus portal. 4 research papers, 1 Academia LoR, 2 Industry LoR, 1.5yr research work experience. 5th acceptance for me after CMU, UW Madison, ETH and EPFL!

Computer Science, Stanford University This was a long shot for me, I wasn't expecting much but I got into CMU MSCS anyways so I'm okay with this. Profile: math & CS undergrad at no name school barely top 600 school, 2 FAANG swe internships, 1 T1 research internship, 4yrs TA. Congrats to admits :)

Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University Current non-CS domestic undergrad at CMU, received an email containing my decision (unable to access portal anymore). 1yr research, 1 big tech internship, very stoked as I was not expecting this at all!

Statistics, Carnegie Mellon University Last year I was rejected everywhere... This year I was accepted almost everywhere, including my favorite school: CMU. Life is sometimes unpredictable, life is sometimes weird.
