Physics, Carnegie Mellon University Has anyone heard from CMU Physics yet? They are not matching my official TOEFL scores to my application. I am worried and have already mailed them like 3 times but they just won't reply. Would be ridiculous if my app isn't reviewed because of no TOEFL.

Physics, Carnegie Mellon University I had an interview with one of their grad committee members back in February. They had kept me waitlisted until today, when I dropped them a mail about my status and their reply was "I'm afraid that we've reached our quota of admitted students so we won't be able to make any offers to people on the waitlist." So if you are waiting for CMU, it is better you look for alternative options.

Physics, Carnegie Mellon University any update on this? "We have made all our admit and waitlist offers and I'm afraid that you weren't included in those. We had a record number of applications this year and competition was very tough. We haven't sent out rejection letters because there is a very small possibility that we will be able to make some more offers, depending on how many students accept. Sorry to not be able to give you better news." Also please, those who have better offers than cmu, please please reject it. I'm a domestic student, this would help me be close to my grandmom who's not in the best shape. Applied to pitt cos of the same reason even tho it's worse.
