Economics, University Of California, Santa Barbara I'm not bitter, as I've been admitted to a higher ranked institution, but I will say that the faculty in the econ dept. at UCSB were the most pompous and condescending individuals I communicated with while inquiring into PhD programs. I was completely turned off before I even received my rejection. Congrats to the admits and I hope they have a good experience there.

Economics, University Of California, Santa Barbara MS in Econ; research experience consists of thesis and research assistantship; Real Analysis I (A), Matrix Theory (A), Math Stats I & II (A,A), and various undergraduate and graduate coursework in economics all A's. Tough, but given the stipend is only ~23k probably would've turned down anyway.

Public Affairs, Indiana University Bloomington IR& Econ undergrad, Fulbright grantee. Received a generous tuition waiver but will probably decline it. Weak quant background, lots of volunteering and leadership experiences alongside relevant internships.

Economics, Syracuse University GPA for master's program. Low GPA but many advanced math courses and Ph.D. courses. Undergraduate major in Sociology. All lead to a miserable result. Got rejected and waitlisted from almost every Econ program including programs rank 60... Became crazy many times. 22750+4000 stipend. I believe they prefer students who have interests in econometrics and policy. Syracuse was one of my dream schools when I study sociology and policy. 2a/5 wl/10+ r/10+pending . Good things will come.

Economics, McMaster University Got an email from grad head. Offer came a week later, ~16k guaranteed plus 4k in scholarships, the emails said if I had better offers they will review and improve it. Took many math and 4 year econ grad prep classes.

Finance, Northwestern University, Kellogg My application was moved to Econ, my second choice program. But it seems that Econ immediately rejected me as I got a separate email saying that my application to the Grad School is unsuccessful. Even if it's not an official rejection, I expect an IR since Econ seems to have finished its admission. The whole second choice thing is a fraud.

Economics, Penn State University Woke up to a nice rejection email lmao. Not surprised given my super high GRE score. Got offer for a 2-years Master's that will break my bank so will not attend. Have some RA experience and pretty good grades in econ/math. Just Undergrad, no Master's.

Economics, University Of Arizona Master's GPA. Did not submit GRE. Accepted via an email from Liz Jenkins, but on the waitlist for funding. Math through real analysis (A). BA and MS in econ. For those admitted with funding that have better offers please decline so others on the waitlist can get a funded offer! Thank you!
