Got an email about status update

Got the academic eligibiliity notification. Applied for General by January deadline.

I'm in complete shock!! 6 years of undergrad. Started out as a nursing student -- it's been a long ride. Major gpa: 3.9. From a satellite campus of a midwest R1 school. Did not take the GRE. 1 year of TA experience, 2 years of research experience, 2 pubs (one being an IEEE publication).

Somehow got an acceptance...no name undergrad + a few years of work experience.

Received email stating recommended for admission from the EECS department

TTPB who got admitted general track... mind sharing your stats? And when you applied? Congrats btw!

TTPB: UCSD told me April 15 would be the date they would send decisions by. Why and what did they email you exactly?

Has UC Berkeley notified all admits for their MEng in EECS program? Does that mean those who haven't received any email yet are rejected? P.S. Congrats to the ones who have received acceptance!

Wow, they made us wait for it this year! I got the email recommending me for admission at 12:06 am PST. For future applicants looking back at grad cafe to try to figure out when your admissions decisions you can't trust previous years to project when you'll sit back. My recommendation is to avoid looking at this website as much as possible!. Congrats to everyone else who received acceptances!!

Has anyone heard back from Meng program as now it is the end of March? Any information?

Anyone else hear from USC? Viterbi's website says their admitted student welcome event is April 6. I'm guessing that date was appropriately set by the department once they are done making decisions... The event for Data Science was Mar 30, didn't get a decision for that major either, but I guess they admit by school not major...

TTPB considering someone below applied to a PhD and got accepted into a masters I think is highly likely that more MS decisions are yet to come. Typically colleges like to offer some phd students the chance to do an ms and after those are done then they accept ms students into the remaining spots
