To the poster below: I also haven't heard anything from UCF for Summer 2021 at all. I emailed and they let me know that second round would release early March. Then I called and they told me that the admissions committee is behind and still reviewing for the second round offers. Hopefully they inform us by the time the month ends...

I have accepted an offer at a different program and UF has been notified. Hopefully, this will help move the waitlist along quickly. Good Luck everyone.

Excited to see this email! Still deciding between other schools but this is a possibility. Probably going to wait to attend the open house before deciding. High GPA/GRE, lots of involvement, and conducted research. Congrats to everyone as well

GPA is MA, Email that says I am in the upper half of the waitlist.

3.57 undergrad GPA, but 3.9 pre-req post-bac. (They're rolling these out slooooowly. They said they should have all decisions out by Friday though!!)

Has anyone heard anything for summer term recently? I was waitlisted in February and have not heard anything since. I am just wondering if there have been any rounds of acceptances or rejections since the initial round they sent out..

TTPB: Hi all! I was the original post for a waitlist notification on 3/20. I received an email from Dr. Jodi Schorb. I'll likely stay on the waitlist for now, as I'm still waiting to hear back from a few schools! Currently in an MFA program, concentrations in film and media studies.

(Ignore Waitlist) Did anyone hear back from UF I contacted the department but no response. Did that send any offers?

4 years of I/O work experience, 4.0 major GPA (3.98 cumulative), only student that served on psychology professor search committee for a state university, psychology volunteering and internship. No official research experience and below average GRE scores (I accidentally reported them last year when it was still mandatory). Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

We wanted to notify you of your admission status now that all applications have been reviewed by the English department graduate admissions committee. Indeed, we received a notably larger number of applications than in the past two years, for a purposefully smaller entering class of 10 to 12 doctoral students (compared to an entering class of 18 students last year). The committee read your application with interest. You are currently on our waitlist, albeit (for transparency) in the lower half. This means our admissions committee found your application compelling, and while we cannot offer you a place at present, it is possible that a space may open."
