Ignore the waitlist. Does anyone in Environmental Engineering track get notification?

Email to check portal. Expected, had a few typos in my SOP (LOL). Not too bummed, got admits where I would be a better fit.

Emailed end of last week about a decision, was told I would be hearing ‘very good news' in my email. Only received grad division email, still waiting on department email. Media archiving track, super excited! Any other new bruins I'd love to meet some of you!

Ignore WL. I emailed them. " The admissions committee is still reviewing applications. The results should be released shortly."

Letter from Admissions Committee saying I was placed on a waitlist for admission and financial support.

(Ignore WL) Still have not heard anything back from these schools. Guess either waitlisted or rejected. Anyone the same? Have they sent out rejections?

hep-th, 4 publications, strong LORs (one of the recommenders is very well known), pGRE 990. Tough competition this year, it seems. All rejects.

received dept acceptance by email first march 15th, then graduate division letter march 22.

Received both departmental and Grad Division letters today (22 March 2022) via email, although I had impatiently asked about my application and was told on 8 March that I'd be accepted. I'm going for a dual focus in Archival Studies and Rare Books / Print and Visual Culture. My undergrad GPA (at another UC) wasn't outstanding and I have done no formal library work. However, I also have an MA and PhD in Medieval Studies (both from UK unis, non-Oxbridge) and considerable experience with medieval manuscripts (incl. several journal articles and a book), so I imagine that helped. Now I'm just waiting to hear about funding. I'm very much looking forward to the program, especially considering I applied to only this program.
