- Received both departmental and Grad Division letters today (22 March 2022) via email, although I had impatiently asked about my application and was told on 8 March that I'd be accepted. I'm going for a dual focus in Archival Studies and Rare Books / Print and Visual Culture. My undergrad GPA (at another UC) wasn't outstanding and I have done no formal library work. However, I also have an MA and PhD in Medieval Studies (both from UK unis, non-Oxbridge) and considerable experience with medieval manuscripts (incl. several journal articles and a book), so I imagine that helped. Now I'm just waiting to hear about funding. I'm very much looking forward to the program, especially considering I applied to only this program.
