Congratulations to the most recent admit! I was wondering, when did you apply? I'm still waiting to hear back as well. Thanks.

Is there anyone still waiting for the result for Data Science MS? Any notification or information? I just heard from Director that the committee is still reviewing the application this week but he couldn't tell me more information. Many thanks.

At the open house, they mentioned that due to the high number of applicants they are looking to increase the class size to about 100. Not sure how many acceptances have been given out, but not that many showed up at the open house (~20).

Got the following message today "Thank you for your application to the M.S. in Data Science program. While your background and experiences are on the right track, the Committee will be moving forward with other candidates at this time. The applications received this year for the Fall 2018 term have been extremely competitive." Was asked if I wanted to be considered for the part-time, non-degree Certification of Professional Achievement program in Data Science, idea being that you could complete some of the degree reqs and reapply at a later date if you wanted to get masters. Already got admits from other reputable degree programs so will not be requesting consideration for Columbia's certification program.

I see one post below recieved the offer, and I wonder anyone else received the admission?

Just finished digital one-way interview. Would love to share the interview questions, but not sure whether it is appropriate to do so.

Did everyone receive interview invite? Does getting an invite mean better chances of acceptance?

Did not receive interview invite. I do not know if that means a rejection.

Received Columbia's Application incomplete status in April , will my application still be considered for admissions ?

Is there anyone who is left for the decision, apart from the ones who are waitlisted? If there is anyone who accepted the offer but doesn’t intend to join, kindly inform the University about your decision. It would be very helpful for the ones who are waitlisted.
