MPhil in Economics Research- Unconditional offer. UK undergrad. No word on college selection yet. Also accepted at UCL and LSE. Waiting to hear back about funding before making a decision

Distinction from a top UK MSc program, two-year predoc. I was expecting it but still stings. Oh well.

First rejection letter 'We regret to inform you that due to the high number of qualified applicants, your application for PhD admission was not successful to the Economics: PHD program. '

Two year predoc + MA. Same as below. Was waitisted last year.

2-year pre-doc after an MA

This was expected, as my GRE was super low due to some extenuating circumstances affecting my exam. I have already decided that I would rather do a pre-doc and apply next cycle.

Two year pre-doc. Econ undergrad at an ivy, math minor.

Rejected. Application forwarded to my second choice program for consideration.

Have two-year master's in econ and solid thesis (A+). Oklahoma's grad. program coordinator replied in email: "... your GRE scores are good. I would encourage you to apply in our program." University of Oklahoma has been providing false data to the US news ranking for its graduate *aka* toilet placements. I don't care to apply, even though my references, two US econ professors, have submitted their letters. Oklahoma should stay in my PhD application submission waitlist :D

Submitted in late December. Three publications in peer reviewed journals. Grad GPA 4.00.

Application finalized with two references on the 25th of November 2021.

[Not exactly Interview] I am wondering, is it an implicit rejection if I have not received an invitation for interview by far? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I got the weird email too and then got this follow up: "This is the Admissions Team in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.
