- I got the weird email too and then got this follow up: "This is the Admissions Team in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Please forgive the inconvenience, but you may have recently received an email from our School with advisor information in error! If you have received this email you may simply delete it – there is no need to respond! Thank you for you understanding, and again I apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, Wes Lipschultz, Senior Director of Student and Academic Affairs & SCI Student Services Team "
