Top UK university. Bachelors and Masters in Maths/Physics - mediocre grades at time of application. Heard by website only not email so far.

TTPB: Congratulations on your admission. May I know which Professor you mentioned in the application & candidate statement? Did you contact that professor(s) previously? Your reply may help me.

Informal acceptance by email from admissions director. He said that he did not have funding for me at the moment, so if funding opens up for me, I will be offered funding, but if not I will be accepted without funding.

Full funding, tuition waiver, health insurance cover.

TTPB: For those who are still waiting for McGill, I emailed the graduate program coordinator and she said she has no idea and did not take part in the admission process, she also said any rejections will not be sent out until spring. She asked me to email my potential PI directly. So I emailed my PI and she said her group has reached max capacity (= rejection). Apparently admission is done within a research group instead of the department, so if you still haven't heard from them yet, you should probably just send your PI an email and ask.

Video interview with the admissions committee. Went well!

Ignore Waitlist. I contacted a member of the decision committee and they stated my application was still under review. Wondering if anyone has heard from TAMU yet.
