Funding, if any, will come with a separate letter. No interview. Met with one minor POI for a while, and had short email conversations during the application process. Although Berkeley GSE was renowned at one time, I am not sure how good it is under the recent financial difficulty. Will see if there is funding.

Am I the only one who was advised to transfer his PhD application to M. Eng?rnI accepted to transfer, and I'm expecting an admission soon. But only partial funding is expected!

Called the graduate office for MCB today, and they said all interview and admittance decisions were given out already for F'18

To the poster below. Did they tell you the decision on ur application? Is there any way to check the decision since non of us have heard from them and they do not answer emails?

Rejected - had to go to their website to find out. "Status Update An update to your application was last posted March 5, 2018."
