Mailed graduate office after no word. Director replied said I was waitlisted and could be waiting till April 15th for a formal decision. The school was a great fit :(

Accepted w/out funding. Invited to apply for a FLAS fellowship.

"I am writing you to let you know that the graduate committee of the Syracuse University Department of Anthropology met to review applications and to tell you that you will soon get a formal letter admitting you to our doctoral program; Congratulations! The committee was very impressed with your application and very pleased that you might join us for your doctoral training. Your formal letter of acceptance is working its way through the necessary bureaucracy and may take a week or so to reach you. Our funding constraints mean that we are not able to offer you funding at this time. We hope that we will be able to secure funding for you and are working hard to do so. Please stay tuned; your patience is much appreciated.

I have been offered admission but funding is on wait list, final decision expected to be communicated by April....

Notification this cycle for 2025/2026 intake seems to be a lot slower than last year's, but glad to receive with funding!

Was emailed directly by an individual at the university for my acceptance that included a written letter by the director of the graduate school. Received an official acceptance from the university on March 11th.
