I am RA-ing for an LSE prof, and was accepted by at least one better ranked US program. Simply shocked.

No email

Honestly devastated. Current LSE predoc, international desperate to stay in the UK. Heard nothing

TPB: Probably. However, there are very few acceptances posted here compared to the last year. I don't know what is going on.

Still haven't heard back from LSE. Should we assume that all acceptances have been sent out and that it is an IR now?

22k funding with TA hours. Submitted the day before the deadline, portal not updated.

To the posts regarding economics PhD acceptances below: Could you please mention when did you receive the email and when did you apply? My portal is showing under consideration, no email yet regarding the outcome. Guess that's an implicit rejection.

Asian undergraduate. Full tuition remission and 22k per year. 1a / 1w / a bunch of rejections.

Accepted but not referred for funding. Have an external funding app cooking, so fingers firmly crossed.

" Does anyone know when the results for the MSc program for ppl rejected to the PhD come out?

TPB: Thanks! Yes, I got an email with the offer letter but the portal still says "under consideration". The offer is fully funded (22k per year) and with a teaching requirement of 200 hours over 4 years.
