Graduate School Admission Results

GPA is for MS. Did an internship at the Smithsonian. Not surprised because because I did my undergrad in anthropology here and they don't normally take their own graduates bc of the overlap between grad/undergrad classes.

Received email to check portal for decision. No follow-up email from supervisor or grad coordinator.

Generic email telling me to check portal for decision. No follow-up email from supervisor or grad coordinator.

Received an email telling me to check portal. Rejection letter in portal. Followed up with an email from POI stating that she really wanted to accept me and she's disappointed that they couldn't. They had to balance out the rest of the subfields, so she couldn't take more students.

Received an email telling me that a decision has been made and to check the portal. Received acceptance. No information on funding.

Is there anyone here who received an acceptance from SUNY Buffalo's Cultural Anthropology track?

Didn’t even get an email or anything :( Just offhandedly checked my portal and my status had changed from ‘In Review’ to ‘Denied Admission.’ :,(
