Got an email asking me to check the portal.

(Not WL) Anyone yet to receive a decision from UMD and Purdue? Any idea when will they release the remaining decisions? We are approaching end of May!

Rejected from MSCS but was recommended for M.S. in Telecommunications for some reason.

Hello UMD CS applicants, I applied for PhD but received an email from Tom Hurst today as follows. "Referral from CS to Science Academy: This is to inform you that you have not been recommended for admission to the Computer Science Master of Science program." I don't understand why they rejected me for MS and recommended another professional degree, without giving me a decision on my PhD application. I logged in to the system and found application status: under program review.

Got the funded email last night. Excited.

1.5 years research, part of it as a post bacc research assistant. I already pretty much knew I was out, I think some of the big schools just waited til everything was in order to send out rejections (Wisconsin being a notable exception). Better luck nexy year! (I hope :])

Have any admitted people received any updates about their funding? Are they sending out fully funded offers recently? Thanks!

At last. The way they delayed sending rejections has seriously bothered me. This was the last decision I was expecting, so my watch has ended. Only one admission out of nine applications, all in physics.

Asked about the status and was informed rejection. If you still didn't heard anything from them, it is a rejection.

Waitlisted for funding. I haven't heard of any changes on financial aid

Has anyone admitted to either History or Library Science programs received any information on Financial offers?

TPB: I am keeping offers from BC and Indiana. I gave up UW Foster simply because of location preference (I'd like to stay in the mid or east, for personal reasons). I think Foster is a great choice as it has a great group of faculty members, and their placement has been on the rise. Hope this helps!

TPB: sorry actually maryland's funding has not been confirmed, at least not in my case. The official letter is not a sign of funding being secured. what a weird year.

Anyone off the priority waitlist? Haven't heard anything from umd.
