For Fall 2021 we received large numbers of very qualified applicants. After a careful review, I am sorry to report that we are unable to admit you. We understand this decision is not what you had hoped, but wish you much success as you pursue your academic and professional goals. We wish we could accommodate a greater number of talented students in the program, but admission continues to be highly competitive. Due to the volume of applications received, we are not able to provide you individual feedback on our decision.

To the person below, congrats on the offer!! Would you mind telling me your subfield? I am also on the waitlist for funding, so I want to know if I can keep my hopes high haha. Thanks!

Sad :/ Almost a 100 deferrals though

I was initially waitlisted. I received an email today offering acceptance to the program. I'm super excited as this was my top choice.

Admitted around 4 pm. So happy!

Interviewed by POI on 24th March! Going to vacate a seat each in UCSD and Purdue.

COMMENT - to the folk below who reported acceptance by UCLA: congrats & thank you for sharing that! Would you mind if I ask whether this is an acceptance off the waitlist? I'm just someone who is on their waitlist and was hoping to avoid unnecessary waiting.

TTPB: Looks like you pushed them to reject me, too. Whyyyy??! LOL J/k already accepted another offer and didn't care about them anyway.
