3.975 undergrad GPA, 3.88 grad school GPA from my MA program at a prestigious university. Its brutal out here.

The rejection letter was so nice. So was UW Madison's. This is my 5th rejection so far, including 3 from programs that I thought were a perfect fit. And you know what; it helps to get a respectful letter. CUNY posted my rejection without even notifying me until days later and UCLA's email was a terse form letter. It takes so little to write a thoughtful rejection email that shows respect for us, yet the impact is huge. I'm a returning student and I've had a long career. It's rude and bad business when companies/schools don't bother to be respectful to candidates/students who don't get the job/admitted. I think this cycle is bust for me. But I'll definitely reapply to UW Madison and UM Ann Arbor when I try again next year. I'll think twice about the other schools because I suspect they revealed something bigger about their school culture and attitudes with their lack of communication and dismissiveness. Noted!

This is my top choice, so I'm thrilled! Had a zoom call earlier letting me know about my admission and I just got the official letter.

Hi, may I ask someone who posted waitlisted below, did you get an interview before being waitlisted?

IGNORE STATUS.. Is BGSU still sending admission emails or? In fact how long does it take to hear from the DGS?

Received an email from POI to have a brief discussion. Didn't expect NYU to do interviews, so this is completely surprising!
