Bachelor's from Pakistan. 2 research internships (1 in germany and 1 in Pakistan). 1.5 years of research oriented work experience in Machine Learning.

I don't really think they reviewed the majority of applications! High GPA + Research Experience + Great academic background, I got an offer from U Waterloo CS but got rejected from McGill. How ridiculous.

Those who got into ms in CS thesis this year in McGill ,you will win the next nobel prize or Turing award for sure.

After submitting my application back in January, I just received an email today regarding the refusal of my application. I didn't really get surprised as I got accepted to the ECE program back in March and I sorta knew after this long wait, because my application was always shown as "Submitted" and I don't even think they reviewed so many applications this year due to large volume of applicants (2000). My GPA is 3.87 and I've got IELTS 7.5. But still, I'm going to McGill so. Congrats to everyone who got into them program.

Not unexpected. A few years of technical work experience, no research experience. Did not interview. Domestic applicant. Shot my shot. Best of luck everyone else!

Are all PhD results out. ??? I don't see any updates here for a long time. For me I see "in review" since Jan. Any idea?

Email to check the website. Accepted off the waitlist.

Applied 3rd March. Notified via website on 28th April of acceptance with 2.1 (65%) or GPA 3.5 conditional offer. No interview necessary. Supplied 1,000 word essay from undergrad for assessment. Best of luck to all applicants during this challenging time :)

Got an e-mail to check the portal and found a rejection offer.

So the results will be uploaded on 30th? A few observations, saw the profiles of the candidates who have been accepted. Was surprised to see the profiles and wondered if the Ivy league status is as selective as they claim. It is not tough to get in, just a lil bit of luck, have seen generic profiles make in. If mass rejections are coming up then Columbia must face consequences of wasting 3.5 months for doing so, an applicant pays money to be reviewed and needs answers to decide on other programs and get Visas as well. Reflects extremely poor on the program and University. All the best guys, brace yourselves.rn

Any WA grp for MS DS NYU Fall 21?

Ignore the Waitlist. I did not see a single UC Davis reject in this forum since the past 3 months. Is UC Davis rolling out their admits slowly or is it done sending all the admits/decisions for this cycle? Mailed them a week ago regarding this : No reply. Does anybody have any idea? Please help.

No offer yet (international but got my BA at UofT); posted as an acceptance for any luck! Has anyone else heard back yet? I sent my application Nov 2020 w a hefty portfolio and i'm getting a tad nervous.

Guys, I request you all to shoot up an email to csadmit@umn.edu for the status update. It's high time now and because of these emails, they'll at least try to pace up their process. PLEASE MAIL THEM!!
