Has anyone heard from PGSP/Stanford psyd program????

I received a generic mass invite to interview back in January. From talking to other interviewees, I know they have sent out invites for at least 5 interview days. I would assume most of the interview invites have been sent out at this time, but good luck!

Received email to interview this morning. Possible dates are 2/28 and 3/9. They mentioned there were a lot of applicants this year, nearly 400! Best of luck to anyone still waiting.

Did anyone hear from faculty/graduate admissions about date of admission of PhDs?

Unfortunately, from seeing this website, it looks like virtually EVERY Phd applicant has been rejected at the end of March, every year. I believe there are max 1 or 2 exceptions to this.

Also waiting. But, doesn't it look like nobody has ever been admitted to the PhD program in the past years?

Of course, I am not condoning, actually I am even more pissed. Not only have I been waiting for 4 months, but also it looks like it's been a waste of money and effort. I know Stanford is hard to get in, but in this program it looks like there is no chance at all. They take your money and then just wait until the last moment to send you a rejection, maybe without even looking at the applications.

Also of note is that the yield rate jumped significantly last year (roughly from 50% in years prior to 70%). Stanford will probably admit slightly fewer students this year..

To the post below: do you have any info about the waitlist?

Told I didn't make the cut in an email w/ subject line "Sociology Admissions Decicion," but I'm hoping to get better news when the admissions decision is announced.
