Graduate School Admission Results

To the posts below: EUI - waitlisted after interview as well (Italian grant). Not sure what's the timeline for the decision. SSE: not heard a word after February 15th email, I assume it's a "no" but still not really nice from them. Also followed up multiple times with Warwick and haven't heard a word after the interview, a bit disappointed...

Is anyone still waiting for a result?

This refers to the MRES/PHD in Economics and Management. I just wanted to post this for future applicants in the next cycle to have a clear picture of the time frame of the decisions on this new program. I put it as my first choice (not regular Econ, and they liked it). I was invited to an interview on the 28th of Jan, which occurred on the 7th of Feb. I was initially told they were going to make their decisions very shortly but then I got an email saying even though I was a strong candidate they received a new batch of applications that they were reviewing (people rejected in Econ). Finally, on the 12th of March, I was rejected. I got a great waitlist at a top 10 school recently so I am happy but this was quite painful. Tips for the interview...they will press you on your research proposal and they will also ask if you would be ready to accept the offer quickly. I didn't say yes seeing as the application cycle had just begun but that might have hurt my chances.

I am completely surprised! I was previously rejected by them and today I received an unfunded offer and was waitlisted for funding.

[Ignore WL] TPB: I'm the poster with the acceptance below. I got confirmation that my application was complete on 23rd March (applied in the second round). One of my letter writers mentioned my US applications, so it's possible that Bonn evaluated my application quickly, in time for the 15th April deadline.

Hello, PSE is going to release their admission results on the week of the 11th -15th April, buuummer - as this give very little time to decide before the general deadline of 15th April for other US/EU schools. If you have applied to the PPD Master and have already accepted another offer, PLEASE let them know!!!

This is for the 1y MSc in Econ. GPA from a Canadian undergrad.

2-yr MSc Economics. Email arrived a little after 7am EST (Nice news to wake up to!). This came about 5 weeks after my rejection to the 1-yr Econ Msc.

[NOT WL] M1. Email saying that results will be out the week of April 11th.

Conditional offer made - second choice programmes.

Emailed yesterday and received offer this morning. Have lots of US PhD offers so will have to do some thinking. If anyone has any insights on the program would love to hear them.
