FALL 2023. Round 1. Asked to check the portal. Don't really know what I missed.

Accepted off the waitlist!

After several rejections I have been accepted. I was not interviewed nor received a waitlist email. I was contacted last weekend by professor asking me if I will attend in case they made me an offer and received the offer on monday. I'll attend. The process was stressful (and long), so to whoever reads this in following years, hang in there and believe in yourself :). I don't have a perfect background, but I believe research experience counts a lot, good letters of recommendations and match with faculty are super important. There is a lot of randomness and luck here, is it impossible to guarantee that your profile will be read by someone who appreciate your interests (sad but true - econ is to broad). Good luck to everyone who still waiting and good luck to future applicants ^^.

Received an email to check my "youSC" portal, and there it was! I am BEYOND thrilled and honored to be joining the coveted ranks of the USC Roski School of Art and Design! 😁

If you got into other schools you want to attend please decline your offer this is my dream school

Asked to provide financial documents, so like a conditional admit. MS CS Scientists and Engineers Track. Mechanical Undergrad, 3 yrs work ex in software MNC

2 research papers, 4 internships, cofounder of a startup and 9.42 cgpa. BE in CSE from a Tier 2 college in Bangalore India

9.68 CGPA|No gre| Btech CSE|SDE 1 year exp

Those idiots literally made me make a yousc account just to see a rejection. Why don't they send it through email?

2 years experience as software engineer at a major defense contractor. Various systems engineering diagramming and planning experience. Guess my GPA was too low.

Got an informal acceptance first, then official

Was interviewed in February. Offer with full funding.

Yay!! My #1 program! God is good! Beautiful Fellowship and generous stipend! Very, fortunate!

Received an email with decision. No GRE, URM, great LORs, undergraduate research experience in the IR field. Intermediate in a 2nd language in my area of study and conversational in a 3rd language. 3A/1W/0R/9P

32.5k with no teaching obligations in years 1 and 5. Very happy :)
