No funding.

Got the offer from both LSE and King's but I'll go for LSE

High GPA, European school. Some work experiences. Waiting times: 6/7 weeks. No GSS. Good luck!

They interviewed me in February. I was in their waiting list.

Generic rejection email. Applied on Jan 5th, received response April 12th.

If you're accepting another offer, then please let LSE know! I just recieved an email suggesting they may offer funding if other candidates turn down their offer (long shot I know). Thanks! Text: "as we enter the final stages of the process it would be useful to know from waitlisted candidates a) what your other funded and waitlisted offers are and b) whether you would choose the lse over these offers if we found you funding this will be useful information if any of our funded candidates decline their offer we should also stress that if you do not receive a funded offer then we would not advise you take up our offer as this would require you to cover the full costs of overseas fees and living costs for five years in any case we look forward to getting this information"

Received full funding! Offer received in beginning March and funding received today. I suggest to the other LSE offer holders to ask the Department by email. Good luck!!!

To the person who got accepted into the MRes/PhD program and received funding: Could you share your GPA, GRE and University name?

To the poster asking about LSE. I am 26 with an engineering undergrad from one of the best universities in my country. Some relevant coursework there can include computational math and programming courses, in which I did well. Then, worked two years outside US in an economics research lab, focused on development economics. Later, got accepted for an RA position at a top 5 econ. dept in US. Took 2 pure math and 2 intermediate econ courses in the university and did well. Very strong letters of recommendation.

I got into Warwick, so will reject

To the poster below who got into LSE and is rejecting it to go to Warwick, why are you choosing Warwick over LSE? LSE is superior to Warwick in every way. Just curious. (Congratulations btw!)

Just received a conditional offer for the MSc EME program!! Submitted my application on the 30th of March, received LSE ID on the 10th of April and offer today. Very happy!

Anybody recently applied/still waiting for admission results?

Waited 13 weeks and received a rejection - so the idea that them making you wait this long means it's an acceptance is not true. Waiting for my second option now.

The course you applied for has reached its quota. Your application has been placed in a reserve group which will be re-considered should a place become available. You will be notified of a final decision after August 12th. I am wondering how it is likely to receive the offer after 12th Aug, also what is the difference between a reserve group & rejection?

Checked portal today and finally the status was changed from "Under consideration" to "accepted." Have a conditional offer, but unfortunately no scholarship. Thank God I have good offer packages from Duke and University of Chicago.
