Does anyone know what the prospects for funding are if one is nominated by the department?

Accepted for the Migration Stream!!!!!!!! Conditional Offer, need to graduate with 2:1 But I was unsuccessful for the GSS.. LSE is my dream school so I will definitely take it and just work my ass off over the summer to afford it!!!!

To the poster below: I didn’t receive the formal offer of admission, I just received the email from Oriana Bandiera saying that I was admitted on Mar 3rd. Not sure what’s going on. I also sent them an email asking about funding and haven’t gotten their reply, either.

Has anyone ever been rejected at LSE for any course after waiting for more than 6 weeks? Is a longer waiting time a good signal?

To the poster below: the LSE is the most disorganized university on Earth. If I were you, I wouldn't infer much from waiting times. (I graduated from the MSc Econ a couple of years ago).

Checked portal today. Accepted under condition of completing my undergrad degree with 2 out of 5 (German grading scale). Offer letter apparently sent out on March 12. Application to GSS unfortunately unsuccessful.

To the person who got accepted into MSc Economics at LSE on 14th March 2018: When did you apply? Are you an international student?

Should have used the "other" classification to avoid confusion. I am a German student, although the LSE DID classify me as an international applicant for reasons unknown to me ... I received my LSE ID on Jan 29th. So it took approximately 6 weeks.

They will communicate decision on my second choice which is MSc Economics (two year programme)

I have received been waitlisted for funding on the 2/3/2018, then today I received an email with the offer indicating my international fee status and I reckoned that LSE FOR YOU has changed! The question is, does this mean I am accepted without funding? or is it still pending. Has anyone got the same thing and is as confused?

No funding which is a bummer, but it took exactly 7 weeks and I could not be more excited!! Especially since the programme is now at "limited availability"

I can't believe it! Applied thinking "why not", never thought in a million years I would actually get in. I guess my strong SoP, LoRs, and volunteer experience made up for my mediocre GPA and low quant score. So excited!!!

I'm a UK student with a 1st class undergrad, and I applied very early, in November I think. What's your situation like?
