Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

To posters below: there are funded admissions, even if the funding seems pretty low (16k).

Are there anybody still in status “Under consideration by the department”? I didn’t receive email today. Many applicants got signals of “rejection” or “acceptance” so I am curious about my status. Plz share the information.

My LSE for you also says it’s under consideration by the department. The fact that acceptances have gone out already doesn’t signal anything overly positive, but we may be on the wait list or something.

Despite having received an admission letter my status is still "under consideration by the department", so I guess it is not updated immediately.

To some who hold the offer: Are you going to decline ？ If so could you post here to let me know？ I am at a dangerous rank at LSE. Thanks a lot ！！

How did you know your rank? I was also waitlisted and emailed the school to ask about my rank, but they simply ignored it.

To the LSE post below: I asked their faculty. Do you have other offers or would you wait it？ Do you know someone who.have offer and want to.decline it？

I have no offer but a couple of waitlists. I have nothing to do but just wait. I know an offer holder, but unfortunately, very likely he is going to accept it...God bless us

To the wl holders: I get an offer from LSE. I don't have other dominating offers now so it is likely that I will accept it. I still have a few schools pending and for sure I will post here if I decide to decline LSE. I am so sorry that I cannot help more at this moment. LSE's ddl is 3.16 so I think you would hear from them soon. Best wishes!

No funding. Rejecting and going for funded US offers.

Anyone heard back for this? I had an interview on 7 February but no communication since. Still ‘under consideration by the dept.’ online.

Waitlisted for funding

To the one who posted on 4 March 2018 and was interviewed on 7 February 2018 for MPhil/PhD in International Relations at LSE, I am in the same boat. I know of one applicant who has been accepted into programme but found out about it informally from the interviewer. However, that applicant's status at LSE for you remain unchanged.

At least I don´t have to figure out how to pay the £50,000 tuition fee!
