When does UW Madison give out results? According to last few years data, people got acceptances in late jan I think.

CMU ML Department has said they will get the results out in Feb. It's 1st Feb and here I am checking any MS ML posts! Anxiety levels up but I think I'll still have to wait till mid-Feb :(

TTPB: poi told me that they have had a record breaking number of phd applications this year, and that it will be extremely difficult to get in. Didn't say about when decisions will be made.

Anyone heard anything from UTCS? Sharing it would be greatly appreciated.

TTPB: your stats make me think syracuse was a match school, or maybe a slight reach. Definitely not a safety. Good luck with the rest

I had a 3.5 over the last 100 credit hours and a 3.6 in cs classes. I have a BS in Math and a BA in Econ. I have 15 credits towards a MSDS with a 4.0 at Regis University. Syracuse was my safety school - perhaps, I made that too apparent. I don't know. This hurts, especially, as I'm waiting for more decisions - some of them for better CS programs and some Stats programs.
