Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Five rejections so far. Six applications to go. I don't know why this is happening to me?? My only problem is lowish GRE scores....but everything else should meet their qualifications. If they are just rejecting me b/c of my GRE scores that's stupid. Years and years of work....and then ONE low test score and that's it??? By the way, I have two master's degrees....so that should count for something!!

An email directing to the website. i thought i could at least be referred to the master's program...sigh.

Called the department. Rejection builds character.

I e-mailed them. Formal announcements will go out soon. One of my safety schools, Uh-oh...

Called. Oh well!

full funding + stipend + health insurance...

Follow up after interview weekend. Director called to congratulate. Formal letters to follow.

Called. Wasn't surprised... just impatient. The grad coordinator said were supposed to go out this week.

I am the one who got my status (rejected) over the phone. This is only for Political Science. I called Kathy Anderson the grad coordinator and asked for an update on the status of my application. She said she had the decision and could give it me over the phone if I wanted. I said sure. She said I was rejected, and said that letters "were supposed to go out this week." direct quote. That's all the info I have!!

Full five year fellowship, with summer money first 2 yrs. I only have to work for it in years 2 and 3.
