To the poster below asking about PhD Sociology - I haven't heard anything, but due to previous cycles I'm assuming that successful applicants will find out this month? I have had short discussions via email with four members of faculty and had a thorough telephone conversation with one faculty member in January. No word since - application reads as 'under review'. |

Almost finished with my master's degree (GPA 3.89). I previously met with my POI from Boulder at a conference and after e-mailing them to follow up they stated they were interested in working with me and enjoyed my research. This rejection came as a surprise based on that. |

High GPA (BS & MS from American schools). Very strong LoR's. Research & teaching experience. Low GRE. Good fit with several faculty members. Very likely to accept. |
