Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Just emailed them and told them I'll be accepting at a different school so this will open up a spot!

I called the department on Monday, 4/6 asking for an update on my application because I haven't heard anything since submitting my application at the end of November 2019. She gave me an email of someone in Admissions to contact for an update, and I've emailed him twice since then, but haven't received a response back yet. Kind of taking that as a no since it looks like other people have already interviewed. Congratulations to all that have been accepted!

I reached out to Dr. Tsao via email on Monday, 4/6 asking for an update on my application status because I hadn't heard back from them since the online open house on Friday, 3/13. I got an automated reply saying they already reached out to the people they accepted (25) and "generated a waitlist". Then Dr. Tsao replied to my email and said I wasn't on either list at that time... but to check back with her after 4/15 if I was still interested. Good luck and congratulations to all who were accepted!

I was sad to see being waitlisted but hopefully, a spot opens up, this is my top choice school!

To the posters below, the virtual open house took place on Wednesday 3/11 and I was notified about being waitlisted on March 18. I have tried reaching out to ask about my waitlist spot/number, but have not received a response from Dr. Tsao. They don't seem to be the quickest to respond to emails... Sorry that you guys have not heard back yet!

Agreed with the post below, if you are planning on committing to another school please let USC know asap! I am very anxious as April 15th is approaching. I really would love to attend this program as it is my undergrad. So please please make your decisions soon, praying for an acceptance!

First-time applicant. I hadn't heard from the program the entire time since I've applied so I emailed just to see if they had reviewed my application. I received a prompt response from them saying they would send me an update on the status of my application by April 15th.

I received a response right away from the department coordinator saying that they would update me with the status of my application by Friday, April 10th. So fingers crossed, but I highly doubt I'll get in since I never received an interview invite. Oh well...

Has anyone else not heard back from Georgia Southern? I saw a couple people post from Tuesday that they had received an answer but I still haven't heard anything. Wondering if anyone else was in the same boat.

Hi everyone! I have still not gotten any update on rejected/wait-listed/accepted...? Portal still says that no admission decision has been made...anyone else? (also for CSULB...)

Those who have been accepted, how long do you have to give your decision? Hoping to hear back about the waitlist before I accept another program's offer since this one is my number 1!

If you are planning on attending another school, please decline your offer! This would be super helpful for those who are on the waitlist! Really hoping to get into this program, as it is my undergrad!
