When will I be notified whether or not I have been accepted into the Physics Ph.D. program? All applicants will be notified of their application status by March 1st, 2021. Monday it is bois and grils

CMP. Two interviews--one by POI and another by committee. No funding...

Ironically received a false rejection letter yesterday - but then emailed today apologizing for the mistake and offered me admission (quite a rollercoaster of emotion). I know it happened to a few others as well. Astrophysics interest.

Since these posts are probably going to get deleted anyway there is really no harm in answering. Three of my LOR told me that they would "write me letters that would get me into any university in the world". Considering all three of them are famous (one of them in their respective field and reached out to a POI at Stanford to push my app, the others are like you would literally know their names offhand kind of famous). I figured that was good enough to bank on (along with all the work I did in research and good GPA). I didnt really want to waste a bunch of money on app fees, and I really really like how they run things and what they are doing at Stanford (the first year having research rotations is sick). So I just applied to one school and one school only.

To the person below talking about the dilution fridge, please get off your high horse. I also did not know what a dilution fridge was. And? I have 5 offers from R1 schools. 2 publications. 2 theses. You don't have to know every niche thing about physics to be a good prospect and to be successful. Sorry your perfect self didn't get accepted to Harvard but COME ON. Don't drag someone else down. That's gross.

Master's GPA 4.0. 1 Pubs and 1 Arxiv.

Did not supply GRE scores. Undergraduate research for 2 years.

To any other accepted DAMTP people, when did you receive your self-service password? I cannot explicitly access my offer right now... :)

Email to check portal. Not unexpected, but was my top choice so it's a bummer.
