- Since these posts are probably going to get deleted anyway there is really no harm in answering. Three of my LOR told me that they would "write me letters that would get me into any university in the world". Considering all three of them are famous (one of them in their respective field and reached out to a POI at Stanford to push my app, the others are like you would literally know their names offhand kind of famous). I figured that was good enough to bank on (along with all the work I did in research and good GPA). I didnt really want to waste a bunch of money on app fees, and I really really like how they run things and what they are doing at Stanford (the first year having research rotations is sick). So I just applied to one school and one school only.
