Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Canadian Applicant - no specific reason given. Pretty sad, but oh well

Here's the thing about Canadian schools: they simply fail to admit baller applicants. I'm talking about ballers on the level of Micheal Jordan, Lebron James, Steph Curry, etc. They get these amazing applicants (like me), and they throw them out! No wonder their country is rapidly deteriorating (projections show they will soon have one of the lowest HDIs and GDP/Capita in the entire world). Anyways, as an AMERICAN I will be writing my members of congress and encouraging them to liberate Canada by any means necessary.

"After carefully reviewing your admission materials for the Doctorate (PhD) Computer Engineering, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a place in our program." Contacted two professors there, but finally did not accept their offers. They wanted me to join the Master's program first (with a lower stipend), I did not agree.

Applied for professional MS. Low cumulative GPA but high GPA in CS coursework (3.7+) and strong LORs (industry + undergrad prof). I knew it was a long shot but still a disappointing result.

Undergrad GPA 3.44/4.0, Grad GPA: 3.71/4.0

NYU Tandon. Redirected to Computer Engineering.

Atleast they remembered that I had applied

I declined the professor offer for interview on 4 a.m in my timing and he didn't respond to my email anymore. so I am happy that I am rejected from this university since now I can work with a professor which I like at UCDavis

Finally, I get the result which I wanted. Super excited. Please be hopeful until you get all your results.

Rejected for both MSCS (General) and MSCS( Scientists and Engineers). Got an email to check portal and the portal had rejections for both programs.

UC undergrad, non CS engineering major, International, GPA 3.63, No GRE, lots of CS related extracurriculars, but no research related to CS. Finally after a long wait. I applied on Dec 14th. Tbh, I accidentally sent unofficial transcript, so they sent me the email about that on Feb 15th (I think my decision might have been released then if I had sent an official transcript). Submitted the official transcript on that day and waited for 2 more months. Feel free to ask me any questions!
