Physics Graduate School Admission Results

hepth, 5 publications, strong letters. Not sure what the schools are looking for, but a hat-trick of rejections already :(

This is my 3rd rejection, no acceptances yet, also starting to worry...

international student doing undergrad in the US, double major in physics and math, 3 years research experience, 2 conferences, no papers but 1 in progress, 3 strong LoRs and major GPA 4.0. this is the 4th rejection i've gotten and no acceptances :( kinda worried about what to do

Generic reject. hep ex

HEP-EX. 2 years' research in assembling detectors and designing deep learning models for tracking particles in Mu2e. Some side projects in CMS and CubeSat. Some As in grad QM, math methods, and QFT. Not sure how to react to this result. This is the second time I apply. It looks like they only want 3.9ish students with papers. I am in a big state university, and only several groups published a paper last year. My group is engaged in building detectors, and it looks like they don't give credits to that.

Expected to be admitted directly but waitlisted. Yale is my dream school so if those who are admitted have already been offered with better choices, please decline Yale's offer. Thanks in advance.

Received a mail to check the portal for an update. Found the offer letter on the website. First acceptance of the season, so really stoked. TOEFL 117, No GRE, 2 years of research experience in High-Energy Astrophysics.

Email to check the portal. Not so surprised. 3 yrs research in EE , CME and CMT. Apply for CMT, quiet lack of experience in CMT. 2 pubs, no one in CMT field.

hep-th, generic rejection sha bi caltech, gou dou bu qu!

3 years research, currently doing postbacc. 3 pubs, 1 first author 1 second, 1 third. Call from POI. I applied last year and was rejected from all schools, just want everyone to know that if it's what you want to do, you gotta keep pushing.

Not sure of subfield yet, but experimental. No interview.

Heard through my PI, they told me I was officially accepted today.
