- HEP-EX. 2 years' research in assembling detectors and designing deep learning models for tracking particles in Mu2e. Some side projects in CMS and CubeSat. Some As in grad QM, math methods, and QFT. Not sure how to react to this result. This is the second time I apply. It looks like they only want 3.9ish students with papers. I am in a big state university, and only several groups published a paper last year. My group is engaged in building detectors, and it looks like they don't give credits to that.
